Athena Pro Mix Kit is the easiest way to start running Athena's professional Pro Line nutrient programme. It includes Pro Core, Pro Grow and Pro Bloom in pre-measured 2lb pouches, together with three dedicated 1-gallon mixing jugs for preparing accurate liquid stock concentrates.

Instead of repeatedly weighing small amounts of powdered fertiliser every time you make a reservoir, you prepare each concentrate once and then dose the liquid according to your target EC. It's quicker, more repeatable and reduces the risk of inconsistencies between feeds.

Use Pro Core + Pro Grow during vegetative growth, then keep Pro Core and switch to Pro Bloom during flowering. That gives you a clean, fully soluble two-part nutrient system at each main stage of growth.

What Does Each Athena Pro Nutrient Do?

Athena Pro Core is the foundation of the Pro Line and is used throughout the main growth cycle. It supplies readily available nitrogen, calcium and essential micronutrients and is paired with either Pro Grow or Pro Bloom.

Athena Pro Grow is the vegetative component. Its 2-8-20 formulation is designed to work alongside Pro Core to support strong roots, foliage and plant structure during vegetative growth.

Athena Pro Bloom is the flowering component. Its 0-12-24 formulation provides elevated phosphorus and potassium alongside supporting elements to meet the increased nutritional demands of flowering and fruiting plants.

Why Choose the Athena Pro Mix Kit?

Athena recommends preparing Pro Line nutrients as stock concentrates rather than repeatedly weighing small quantities of powder directly into individual reservoirs.

The Pro Mix Kit makes that process straightforward. Each pouch has its own dedicated jug, allowing you to prepare a consistent concentrate and then measure the amount required for your target EC.

This is particularly useful for growers running coco, rockwool, drain-to-waste irrigation and high-frequency fertigation, where consistent nutrient strength and accurate EC control become increasingly important.

It's also a great starting point if you've been considering moving from bottled nutrients to Athena's powdered Pro Line but don't yet need the larger commercial-size packs.

How to Mix the Athena Pro Mix Kit

Prepare Pro Core, Pro Grow and Pro Bloom separately in their matching jugs. Never combine the dry powders or undiluted concentrates together.

1. Use the matching jug: Keep Core, Grow and Bloom in their designated containers.
2. Add clean water: Add RO or clean filtered water to the jug, leaving enough room for the powder and thorough mixing.
3. Add the full pouch: Slowly add the complete 2lb pouch to its matching jug while mixing.
4. Dissolve thoroughly: Shake or agitate until all of the powdered fertiliser has dissolved.
5. Top up to one gallon: Add additional water until the total finished concentrate reaches the 1 US gallon / approximately 3.79L mark.
6. Mix again: Shake thoroughly to produce an even concentrate.
7. Repeat separately: Prepare Core, Grow and Bloom using their own jugs.

Important: The final volume of powder and water together should reach the 1-gallon mark. Do not add a full gallon of water on top of the powder.

How to Use Athena Pro Line

Once your concentrates are prepared, the feeding programme is simple:

• Vegetative Growth: Athena Pro Grow + Athena Pro Core
• Flowering: Athena Pro Bloom + Athena Pro Core

The prepared concentrates are then measured into fresh water according to your required EC. Add each component to the reservoir separately and mix thoroughly before adding the next.

Your source water contributes to the final EC, so always check the finished nutrient solution with a reliable EC meter instead of relying on dosage alone.

Athena Pro Mix Kit Dosage Guide

The 1-gallon Pro Mix Kit produces Athena's recommended 2lb-per-US-gallon stock concentrate. The following figures are taken from Athena's dosage reference for this concentrate strength.

Important: These figures refer to the amount of prepared concentrate added per US gallon of final nutrient solution. They are not ml/L feed rates.

Athena recommends using EC as the final reference point because starting water quality, crop stage and growing conditions will all affect the finished nutrient solution.

Pro Grow, Pro Bloom and Pro Core are fully soluble dry mineral fertilisers designed to mix cleanly at room temperature. Athena specifically developed the Pro Line for stock tanks and professional irrigation systems where sediment and blocked emitters can cause serious problems.

What Else Do I Need?

The Pro Mix Kit contains the Core, Grow and Bloom base nutrients required for Athena's main two-part-per-stage feeding system.

A reliable EC meter is strongly recommended because Athena's Pro Line is designed around target EC rather than one fixed ml/L feed rate. You'll also need a properly calibrated pH meter to finish and monitor your nutrient solution.

Athena also produces products such as Cleanse, Balance and Fade for specific water-management, irrigation-maintenance and finishing applications. These are separate from the Core/Grow/Bloom Pro Mix Kit and should be used according to Athena's current feed programme where required.

Top Tip: Don't treat the Pro Mix Kit like an ordinary bottled nutrient with one fixed ml/L dosage. Prepare the three concentrates accurately, keep Core, Grow and Bloom separate, and use your EC meter to dial in the finished reservoir. During veg use Core + Grow; during flowering switch Grow for Bloom.
