The X-Stream Propagation Racking System is a compact, multi-tier solution built to help growers root more cuttings in less space. Choose between the version supplied with integrated LED lighting or the rack-only option — both are designed to keep your propagation area organised, efficient, and perfectly lit for fast, healthy rooting.
Each tier is sized to fit the popular Stewart Propagators, giving you a reliable, uniform environment for starting large batches of cuttings.

Why You Need to Maximise Propagation Space
Propagation areas fill up quickly — especially when you’re running multiple mother plants or frequent clone cycles. The X-Stream rack keeps your setup neat, accessible, and space-efficient, allowing you to root large numbers of cuttings without expanding your footprint. Its open-frame design supports airflow, humidity stability, and easy access for misting or maintenance.
Recommended Propagators
Each shelf fits perfectly with the Stewart Propagators (sold separately). These trays deliver consistent humidity, stable domes, and dependable rooting performance.
- Stewart Medium Propagator: 38 × 21.5 × 24cm
- Stewart Large Propagator: 52 × 42 × 28cm
For best use of rack space, we recommend the Medium Stewart Propagators; they maximise the number of cuttings per tier while maintaining airflow and access. Each medium tray typically supports 18–36 cuttings depending on clone collars or tray configuration.
With or Without LED Lighting
The X-Stream Propagation Racking comes in two options:
- Rack Only: For growers who prefer to use their own lighting or natural light sources.
- Rack + LED Lighting: Includes full-spectrum LED bars that provide low-intensity light ideal for fresh cuttings. This ensures uniform coverage across every shelf, promoting faster rooting without stressing delicate clones.
How to Set Up
- Assemble the rack: Follow the supplied instructions to build the steel frame.
- Position shelves: Adjust tier heights to allow for propagator domes and airflow.
- Add propagators: Place Stewart Medium or Large units securely on each shelf.
- Install lighting: If using the LED version, connect the supplied LED bars and link to your timer.
- Load cuttings: Prepare your clone trays, mist cuttings, and close domes to maintain high humidity.
Top Tip: For maximum rooting success, keep humidity high for the first 48 hours, then gradually introduce fresh air once cuttings begin to callus.
