Why You Need Better Air Circulation

Extraction changes the air inside your grow room, but it doesn't guarantee that air is moving evenly around the plants. That's the job of your circulation fans.

Rubber inserts inside the clamp improve grip against the pole and help keep the fan securely mounted while the head is oscillating.

Because it mounts directly onto the tent frame, there's no stand taking up valuable growing space and the fan can easily be repositioned as your canopy develops.

Simple On-Fan Controls

Two integrated controls give you access to the fan's main functions without adding unnecessary complexity.

The rear control operates the fan and gives access to the 10 speed settings, while the front control operates the oscillation system and allows you to switch between the 45° and 90° sweep.

How to Set Up the Vortex 8" Oscillating EC Fan

1. Choose a suitable grow tent pole between 15mm and 30mm in diameter.
2. Fit the clamp securely around the pole and make sure the rubber inserts are sitting correctly.
3. Position the fan so the oscillating head has enough clearance to move freely.
4. Angle the fan across or around the canopy rather than directly blasting one plant at close range.
5. Select a low speed initially and increase the airflow until you have gentle, consistent movement across the growing area.
6. Choose either 45° or 90° oscillation depending on the area you need to cover.

Use the Vortex alongside a correctly sized extraction system. A circulation fan moves air around the room; it does not replace the fresh-air exchange provided by an inline extraction fan.
