Please note: this is a 230V lamp. It must only be used with standard 230V/240V 600W HPS ballasts. It is not compatible with 400V EL fixtures such as the Gavita E-Series, which need a 400V EL lamp.

How the Philips GreenPower 600W 230V Works
The lamp is driven by an external ballast, which starts and regulates it. Once warm, it produces an intense, orange-heavy light that plants use strongly in flower. Like all HPS lamps, it gradually loses output over time, so many growers replace it roughly every year to keep light levels up.
