Newa-Jet Submersible Water Pumps

Newa-Jet Submersible Water Pumps are quiet and efficient pumps for use in larger systems, moving over 1000 litres of water through an outlet point of between 25mm and 35mm in size. They are a perfect fit for IWS Pro Flexi Pipe (25mm internal diameter) and can be used either fully submerged or out of the water with the included adapter.

How Newa-Jet Water Pumps Work

Newa-Jet Water Pumps (formerly known as Newa-Jet) are suitable for growers running large scale systems. All Newa-Jet Water Pumps are capable of moving 1000's of litres of liquid per hour through an outlet that’s the perfect fit for IWS Pro Flexi Pipe (with an internal diameter of 25mm). The outlet attachment actually has two different sized barbs which are 21.4mm and 26.9mm in their outer diameter. Newa-Jet water pumps draw liquid through the front of the unit and propel it through the outlet point. The jet produced is powerful enough to drive water upwards through a riser pipe of up to 3.6 metres tall. The Newa-Jet Water Pumps can be used fully submerged or run out of the water by utilizing the included adapter which fits on to the front of the unit, allowing piping to be connected to the inlet point of the pump.

How To Use

How to Use the Newa-Jet Water Pump

To use Newa-Jet water pumps as a submersible pump, simply screw the hose attachment into the top of the unit and push suitable piping over the barbs. Use a jug of half-boiled water to soften the pipe beforehand to make the fitting process as easy as possible. Plug the unit in and select your desired flow rate by twisting the dial which sits over the inlet point. Liquid will be sucked through the front of the unit and driven on out through the attached pipe to your chosen destination, which will depend on your choice of system.

To use the pump outside of the water, unplug the unit, take a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the two screws that secure the front panel in place and take the front panel off. The supplied inlet adapter can then be pushed into the circular hole around the impeller, so that its ledged areas slot properly into the grooves. Twist the supplied fixing over the adapter to secure it onto the pump. Screw the second supplied hose attachment into the adapter and push on your piping as described earlier for the outlet point. When turned on, the pump will drive liquid through the piping network without the unit itself having to be submerged.
