An All-Natural, Peat-Based Mix with Worm Castings and Bat Guano
Guanokalong Complete Mix contains a blend of organic substrates and additives, including peat, baltic peat, perlite, guano and worm castings. This gives Complete Mix excellent properties that promote fast rooting, and rapid growth and development. The additives in Complete Mix are there to complement your feeding regimen, not replace it. It's heavy in phosphorus, which is great for root development, but you'll still need to add in some nitrogen based feed fairly early on.
Why Add Guano?
Guanokalong Bat Guano is a natural fertilizer derived from the solidified excrement of bats. It has been revered for centuries as a nourishing soil amendment, which is thanks to its wide-ranging nutrient profile, its ability to improve soil structures, and its powerful effects on growth rates.
Guano is known for having a particularly high phosphorus content, which plays a big role in the development of healthy roots, strong stems, and abundant flowers and fruits. Guano is also rich in other important nutrients, including nitrogen, potassium, and calcium, which are all essential for plant growth and development.
Guano improves soil structure by improving soil porosity, which allows for better water retention and drainage. It also increases microbial activity, which in itself has a wide array of benefits, improving uptake rates, warding off pathogens and breaking down dead organic matter.
