Dimlux Alpha Optics 98 Remote Reflector Puts More of Your Lamp's Light Onto the Canopy

The Dimlux Alpha Optics 98 Remote Reflector is a replacement grow light reflector lined with 98% reflective Miro Silver. It's designed for use with a separate (remote) ballast, and its adjustable side reflectors let you tune the spread for better overlap between lights and less light lost on walls and paths.

Standard hammer-tone or dimpled aluminium reflectors are typically around 87% reflective. That difference is light your plants never see, and it only gets worse as an old reflector dulls.

How the Dimlux Alpha Optics 98 Works

The reflector follows Dimlux's Single Bounce Clear Sight (SBCS) design: light leaving the lamp should hit the reflector once and go straight down to the plants, rather than bouncing around and losing energy. The Miro Silver lining uses vacuum-applied optical coatings on aluminium to reach 98% reflectivity.

The open design passively cools the lamp, which helps lamp life and efficiency. For hotter rooms, the 50mm socket can be connected to extraction to pull heat straight out of the reflector.
