The spike is fitted inside the Tray2Grow tray and pushed through the base of a grow bag. The attached capillary lace sits in the nutrient solution below, drawing moisture upward as the plant requires it. This allows roots to access water directly without flooding or over-saturation.
This method is particularly effective for larger grow bags where traditional capillary matting may not provide even coverage.
