Used within AutoPot systems such as Tray2Grow, it acts as a physical barrier that stops roots penetrating capillary matting, AQUAvalves, and irrigation channels while still allowing water and nutrients to pass freely.
This simple but essential component helps maintain consistent feeding, reduces blockages, and extends the lifespan of both your irrigation system and growing accessories.

How It’s Used
In Tray2Grow setups, the root control sheet is placed directly on top of the capillary matting before positioning seed trays, micro herb trays, or perforated pots. This prevents roots from anchoring into the mat while still allowing consistent bottom-fed irrigation.
It can also be cut to size and used in other AutoPot systems wherever root protection is required.
