AutoPot Tray2Grow Capillary Matting – Even, Controlled Bottom Feeding
The AutoPot Tray2Grow Capillary Matting is a key component of the Tray2Grow system when running seed trays, micro herb trays, or bottom-perforated pots. Designed to wick water and nutrient solution evenly from below, it creates a stable moisture layer that supports uniform root development without waterlogging.
Used in conjunction with the Tray2Grow tray and a root control sheet, this capillary matting allows multiple trays or containers to be fed simultaneously, making it ideal for propagation, microgreens, and high-density early growth.

How It Works
The capillary mat is laid flat inside the Tray2Grow tray and tucked neatly into the channels. A root control sheet is then placed on top to prevent roots growing into the mat. Seed trays, micro herb trays, or perforated pots sit above this layer.
As the AQUAvalve feeds water into the Tray2Grow tray, the capillary mat draws the solution upward evenly. Moisture then passes through drainage holes into the growing medium, providing gentle, consistent hydration without the need for pumps or electricity.
