The AUTOPOT Greenhouse & Grow Room Irrigation System is a fully automated, gravity-fed irrigation solution designed for serious greenhouse growers, large grow rooms, and high-output cultivation spaces.

Combining the flexibility of the Tray2Grow system with scalable 1Pot and easy2grow modules, these complete irrigation kits allow you to run multiple plant types and growth stages simultaneously, without daily hand watering.

Powered by the proven AQUAvalve5, each tray feeds plants on demand with no pumps, no timers, and no electricity required. The system creates a consistent wet-to-dry cycle that encourages stronger root systems, stable growth, and significantly reduced labour.

One System, Every Stage of Growth

This system is designed to support your entire growing cycle in one integrated setup. Use the Tray2Grow units for propagation with seed trays, early vegetative growth in pots, or grow bags and planters.

As plants mature, vine crops can transition into the easy2grow modules, while larger, bushier, or heavy-feeding varieties can be transplanted into the 15L 1Pot modules for maximum root space and higher yields.

Once propagation and veg stages are complete, the Tray2Grow systems can continue supporting larger potted plants or be reconfigured to irrigate grow bags, micro herb trays, or fabric planters. This flexibility allows multiple growth stages to run simultaneously, maximising greenhouse space and enabling consistent harvests throughout the season.

Each system includes the correctly sized pipework, connectors, filters, taps and AQUAvalve5 units required for that exact configuration. Every kit is balanced to ensure proper flow distribution and reliable system performance.

How the AUTOPOT Irrigation System Works

The AQUAvalve5 controls nutrient delivery into each tray. When the tray empties, the valve closes automatically until the growing medium partially dries. This natural wet-to-dry cycle prevents overwatering, increases oxygen at the root zone, and supports healthier plant development.

Because the system is gravity-fed, it requires no electricity, making it ideal for greenhouses, off-grid setups, and large grow rooms where reliability and low maintenance are essential.

How to Set Up Your AUTOPOT Irrigation System

1. Position & Fill Your Reservoir
Start by placing your reservoir slightly higher than your trays to allow proper gravity-fed flow. Fill it with water and mix in your chosen nutrients thoroughly, adjusting EC and pH as required before turning the system on. A stable, well-mixed reservoir is key to consistent feeding.

2. Connect the Pipework & AQUAvalve5
Run the 16mm mainline from your reservoir to the growing area, then connect the 9mm pipework to each tray. Fit the AQUAvalve5 inside each tray according to the instructions. The AQUAvalve is the heart of the system, regulating water delivery automatically without pumps, timers, or electricity.

3. Position Pots or Trays Correctly
Place your pots, grow bags, or trays onto the system trays, ensuring root control discs or sheets are installed correctly where required. Media should be pre-moistened before first use to help establish capillary uptake.

4. How the AQUAvalve Works
Once the tap is opened, the AQUAvalve allows approximately 20mm of nutrient solution into the tray, then shuts off automatically. It will not reopen until the tray has emptied and the medium has gone through a natural dry-back phase. This wet-to-dry cycle promotes strong root development, prevents overwatering, and improves oxygen availability in the root zone.

5. Self-Regulated Feeding
Plants draw nutrient solution up from the tray via capillary action. Because the valve only refills once the tray is empty, plants effectively regulate their own irrigation based on demand. This creates stable growth without the guesswork of hand watering.

6. Ongoing Maintenance
Check reservoir levels regularly and top up as required. Replace nutrient solution every 7–10 days for best results. Periodically flush the pipework with clean water or a suitable system cleaner to prevent salt build-up and keep the AQUAvalves operating smoothly.

Top Tip: Always fully saturate your growing medium before turning the system on for the first time. AutoPot works best once roots are established and actively searching for water.
