Vent - Intake Filter Box
Remove Dust & Bugs From Entering Your Grow-space
An Air Intake is a big addon upgrade to a grow-space ventilation system. Unfortunately, it can become an entry point for outdoor contaminents and bugs to get into your grow space. While a cheaper mesh-type air intake filter will prevent larger bugs from getting into your grow-space, it will not prevent contaminents or miniscule pests such as spider mites. A Vent air intake filter box contains a much finer filter pad which pretty much blocks everything but the air - exactly what a grower wants.
- Available in different sizes to suit the diameter of your air intake system
- Supplied with filter pad
- Tough housing
- Utilises a very fine filter pad
- Blocks even tiny bugs like spider mites
- Removes dust and other contaminents such as pollen down to a size of 10µm
- Filter pads are replaceable

How the Vent Air Intake Filter Box Works
The Vent Air Intake Filter Box connects between 2 parts of the intake ducting. As the intake air goes through it, it must pass through the filter pad which is contained inside. As the air passes through the pad, bugs and contaminents larger than 10µm (1/100th of a millimetre) are removed from the air, preventing them from reaching your grow space. This makes a huge reduction in the likelihood of even tiny insects and particles (such as pollen) from reaching your plants. Air Intake filter boxes do a far better job of cleaning the intake air than the cheap mesh type.
The Vent air intake filter boxes shut tight with a snap-catch which makes it incredibly easy to replace the filter pad once it needs to be replaced.
How to Use the Vent Air Intake Filter Box
Air should always be sucked through the intake filter box rather than being blown through it. An ideal arrangement is as follows:
Air Intake inlet point - Ducting - Filter Box - Ducting - Duct Fan - Ducting to Intake point in grow space
Simply connect ducting to the flanges on the filter box and the duct fan using duct clips.
