How the Trimzilla 16" Bowl Trimmer Works
Trimming the traditional way (hunched over your plants with scissors) is arduous and time consuming. The Trimzilla makes life easy by automating the process. It's comprised of three main parts: a lid (with a handle and a series of removable rubber tongues), a grill (with a gearbox and a set of blades), and a bowl for collecting the waste. The Trimzilla is fitted with a sharp two-way blade as standard and comes supplied with two spare sets of four-way trimming wires.
The basic concept is very simple: turn the handle and it will rotate the rubber tongues, which push plant material around the top chamber. At the same time, the blade that sits underneath the grill spins. As the plant materials move around the chamber, any leaf matter that's find it's way through the grill gets chopped off. The Trimzilla uses a gearbox (which is attached to the grill) to keep the blade and the tongues rotating at different rates. The tongue moves materials around the chamber slowly while the blade spins faster than the eye can see.
Leaves that are trimmed from your produce are collected in the bowl, keeping everything nice and tidy. You can then put these materials to good use in other areas if needs be.

How to Use the Trimzilla
Fit the handle to the lid using the screw, washer and supplied allen key. Place the bowl on a table or flat surface and fit the grill on the top, so that the blade faces downwards.
Place no more than 40 grams of untrimmed plant materials onto the grill. Put the lid on, ensuring that the spindle sits inside the gearbox. Turn the handle clockwise to start the trimming process, at the rate of about one turn every 2 to 3 seconds. Official instructions are 15-30 turns, but we recommend starting off at around six and working your way up. Optimal procedures will depend on the density and conistency of the material, so it makes sense to start off lower and work your way up until you get a feel for it.
Once your plant material has been trimmed thoroughly, take the top off and remove it. Place the next batch in if necessary. Every few batches, check under the grill and empty the trim out of the bottom bowl if necessary. Make sure that the SpinPro is cleaned well after use to maintain its effectiveness and lifespan. This is very important
