How the Luxx NX-1 Lighting Controller Works
The Luxx NX-1 Lighting Controller is a simple and powerful system for controlling your lighting equipment. It is compatible with all Luxx Lighting fixtures. Control upto 80 light fixtures from a central location with easy plug & play installation.
How To Use The Luxx NX-1 Lighting Controller
A group of up to 80 Luxx lighting ballasts can be connected to both the main RJ9 port and the auxiliary RJ9 port of the controller. Switch the rotary knob on all Luxx Lighting ballasts to "EXT" (external control). The Luxx Lighting 630w CMH ballasts do not have a knob.
Plug the RJ9 end of one of the controller cables into the RJ9 main port on the controller. If a two room setup is used or if more than 80 ballasts have to be connected, plug a second controller cable in the RJ9 aux port. Plug the RJ14 end of the controller cable(s) into the input of a RJ14 splitter. Use an interconnect cable to connect one output of the RJ14 splitter to the RJ14 port of the ballast. Use an interconnect cable to connect one of the RJ14 splitter to the input of the following RJ14 splitter. Repeat this process to conect up to 80 ballasts per group.
