How the GoGro XL System Kits Work:
Out kits come with all the equipment, and necessary fittings needed to set up your entire system - making the entire process incredibly simple and hassle-free! Massive yields, with half of the effort!
GoGro XL Systems don't require you having to use pumps or other electrical equipment and instead, rely on gravity and their ingenious valve system to distribute nutrients as and when they are needed. Because of this, GoGro XL kits are simple to install and very user friendly.
Your GoGro XL system fills trays up with nutrient to 25mm, once this nutrient has been absorbed and the tray is empty, they automatically refill back up to the 25mm level using an ingenious float valve system. Fresh nutrient solution is only ever delivered once root systems have absorbed the previous 25mm of feed.
GoGro XL systems are fed from underneath, and they require a medium that is able to absorb liquid effectively, 'sucking' it up to the upper regions of the container and creating an even spread of nutrient. Coco coir ticks these boxes, making it the best performing medium we've tested for use in GoGro systems.
It's also advisable to mix growing mediums with perlite or clay pebbles, up to a ratio of around 1 part medium to 1 part perlite/clay pebbles, particularly when using heavier potting soils. Even coco grows benefit when the medium is mixed with perlite at a rate of around 1:1 (coco - perlite/clay pebbles).
Using the GoGro XL System Kits:
Kits will need assembling differently depending on the number of pots.
After setting up your system, fill the container/s with your chosen medium and plant out the system. GoGros work best with absorbent mediums with good capillary action. Coco coir is perfect for this, but remember to use coco specific feeds when choosing nutrients. Soil is fine, but heavier grades work best when mixed with up to 50% perlite.
Water your pots from the top down in an external area and allow them to drain fully outside of the GoGro Trays.
Allow 7 – 10 days of top down hand-watering before filling the reservoir.
