How Spider Killer Works:
Spider Killer contains pure cinnamon extract in the form of an essential oil (Cinnamomum zeylanicum). Cinnamon has many beneficial properties for both plants and humans. The active ingredients eugenol, cinnamic aldehyde and Canel HC are like kryptonite to spider mites and other nasty grow room pests such as thrips, mealybugs and aphids. Because Spider Killer is completely natural, it doesn’t cause the same issues that more aggressive chemicals can, and it will leave your fruits completely safe to consume. Cinnamon is actually more effective than most chemical pesticides because it forms a two-pronged attack. Once treated, it creates a physical barrier between plant materials and the outside world, which helps to strengthen plants and protect them from fungal attacks.
How to use Spider Killer:
Fill your sprayer with a mixture of 0.5ml - 1ml Spider Killer for every litre of water, then give it a good shake. Ideally, you should let the water stand in a bucket with the lid off for 24 hours to allow the chlorine content to evaporate. This is particularly important when using biological products.
Make sure you cover both sides of the leaves but try to avoid spraying flowers as you progress through the bloom stages.
Always spray during dark hours with the lights off. Treating during light periods can result in leaf burning. Droplets act like a lens and magnify the intensity of light in certain spots – a very bad idea.
Recommended dosage: 0.5ml – 1ml/litre
