The HPS Killer - Runs 2 x 315w Lamps in One Reflector!
This kit includes the Maxibright Twin Reflector, which can house two CDM lamps at the same time. With a combined 630 watts of CDM lighting, you'll have a system that will deliver on quality while matching 600 watt HPS systems in terms of yield! You can choose from the two best CDM ballasts out there: the Maxibright Daylight and the Sol-Digital SuperBRIGHT. They will drive the supplied Philips lamp efficiently and effectively, and come with an array of features. For us, the Sol-Digital just pips it as the better ballast (due to it having a couple of extra features), but it's a close call.
We also offer a choice between the Philips GreenPower 930 Elite Agro Lamp and the Philips MasterColour 942 Daylight. The Elite Agro emits a broad light-spectrum that’s heavier in the red area, making it better for adding weight and improving oil production when flowering. The 942 Daylight's spectrum is optimised for rapid vegetative growth. It'll help to reduce your veg times and shorten the length of internodes, for tighter, stronger plants with less stretching. This helps you to make the best use of the space in your indoor garden, and in turn, will help you to maximise your yields.
How the Maxibright Twin CDM Grow Kit Works:
CDM lamps produce an intense full-spectrum light that plants love, but with a choice of two lamps, which lamp should I choose?
Philips GreenPower 930 Elite Agro CDM Lamp

The GreenPower 930 Elite Agro is perfect for flowering / fruiting as it has a very high PPF (photosynthetic photon flux) level. PPF levels quantify the useable plant light that will impact plant growth.
Philips MasterColour 942 Daylight CDM Lamp

We recommend using the the MasterColour 942 Daylight during veg growth. It gives off a crisp, white light, that delivers accelerated growth rates, good branching and short internodes. Using a properly optimised veg lamp will keep your plants shorter and will help you to use your grow space more efficiently.
The black line in the graph above represents the "McCree Curve", which gives a relative indication of how efficiently a plant uses the different colours in the light spectrum to photosynthesise with. To learn more about our light spectrum graphs and how they affect your plant, check out our blog.
The Maxibright Twin Reflector houses 2 x 315w CDM, which means that this set-up packs a real punch in terms of yield, while also delivering on quality.
We offer a choice between the Maxibright Daylight and the Sol-Digital SuperBRIGHT ballast. Both are excellent ballasts that will drive Philips CDM lamps efficiently and effectively, but the Sol-Digital ballast comes with some interesting features that give it the edge, including ignition control, which prevents surges and spikes, and automatic frequency adjustment, which maintains a constant output from the lamp during input power fluctuations. Both feature soft start technology, to reduce inrush current, and intelligent circuit protection to keep your grow room safe and give you peace of mind. You won’t go wrong with either.
