How to Use Coco A&B Mush
Before using this Coco A and B formula, you must first dilute the concentrated mix. Fill the bottle ¾ of the way up with hot water, screw the lid on and shake vigorously. Once the mush is completely dissolved, you can then fill the bottle with hot water up to the fill line at the top of the bottle. Always shake the bottle before use to ensure a consistent, even mixture.
Fill your reservoir with water and add equal amounts of part A and part B to the tank to achieve the required strength and mix well. Use a syringe or beaker to ensure that your measurements are accurate and use a conductivity meter (like the Bluelab Truncheon) to check nutrient strength. Adjust as necessary.
Here is the manufacturer’s guide to the required dilution rates for each stage:
Week 1: 1ml per litre
Week 2: 1.3ml per litre
Week 3: 1.6ml per litre
Week 1: 2ml per litre
Week 2: 2.3ml per litre
Week 3: 2.3ml per litre
Week 4: 2.6ml per litre
Week 5: 2.6ml per litre
Week 6: 3.0ml per litre
Week 7: 2.6ml per litre
Week 8: 2.3ml per litre
Final Week: flush
Use a pH meter to ensure that the solution sits within optimal ranges, adjusting as necessary using pH down solution. In Coco, the correct pH level is generally between 5.8 and 6.3.
As with all nutrients, boosters and additives, DO NOT mix them together in their concentrated form (i.e. straight out of the bottle). Always add each nutrient, booster or additive to your reservoir or feed water in turn, giving the solution a good stir to mix it in before adding the next one.
