How to Use Dutch Pro – Take Root
Dutch Pro Take Root can be used for plants grown in any type of grow-system and in any grow-medium. Begin to use as soon as you pot your plant and continue to use right the way through the vegetative growth stage and up to the end of the second week of flowering/fruiting. Always shake the bottle well before use. Make up your nutrient solution/feed water as usual. Add Dutch Pro Take Root at 1ml/litre and mix well.
We recommend using a syringe or beaker for accurate measurement of this product and a CF/EC/PPM meter such as the Bluelab Truncheon to check the TDS. Adjust as necessary. Adjust the pH of the solution to the required level using pH up or down as necessary. Dutch Pro suggest an optimum pH of 5.8 for hydro and a pH between 5.8 and 6.5 for soil. We recommend the use of a pH meter such as the Horticare pH meter to help accurately set the pH to the required level.
If you are growing in soil it is recommended that you allow the soil to get a little dry in-between waterings (not bone-dry). When watering in soil try to achieve 10-20% run-off each time to help flush out toxins which can naturally build-up.
As with all nutrients, boosters and additives, never mix them together in their concentrated form (i.e. straight out of the bottle). Always add each nutrient, booster or additive to your reservoir or feed water in turn, giving the solution a good stir to mix it in before adding the next one.
Dutch Pro – Take Root recommended dosage: 1ml/Litre during all of vegetative stage and the first 2 weeks of flowering/fruiting.
