So, today we're introducing the ground-breaking Omega Infinity 3.0 Pro LED.
It's one of the first LEDs to crack the '3.0 micromoles per watt' barrier, putting it above pretty much everything else out there in terms of performance and efficiency.
This means that your plants get more photons of usable light for every watt of electricity consumed, squeezing as much value as possible from your energy spend. And with electricity prices on the increase, efficiency has never been a more important factor.
A consequence of this super-efficiency is that less energy is lost as heat, making grow room temperatures even easier to control. Favourable environmental conditions play a big role in plant performance, and it's one of the reasons why LEDs, like the Infinity 3.0, blow old-school HPS lighting out of the water when it comes to quality and yields. Many growers are easily adding 50% to their final weights when upgrading to LEDs, and that's without adding CO2. Add CO2 in with this beast and you could push things to a completely different level!
But what's particularly mind-blowing about this fixture is the price tag. At 549.99, it's one of the lowest costing spider-style fixtures you can lay your hands on, making the price to performance ratio something special.
You'd be forgiven for thinking that the team at Omega Lighting must have cut corners in some other area, but you'd be wrong. In fact, the infinity is loaded with features that you'd expect from much, much pricier fixtures:
It comes with magnetic strips that make it quick and easy to assemble, as well as a high quality 4m power cable.
You get a controller that lets you regulate output settings in 25% increments.
And a full-spectrum light output that's bursting with reds and with enough blues to keep height levels down, making more efficient use of the grow space.
The output is incredibly even, thanks to the Spider-style 6-bar design. It will cover a space of up to 1.4m square, though we think the Infinity will really come into its own in a standard 1.2m square grow space.
